Acceptable Use Policy
Gammatica
Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) governs the products, services, software, integrations and technologies (collectively, the “Products”) provided by Gammatica Kft. (“Gammatica”, “we”, “us”) under any agreement between us and a customer (“Customer”, “you”). It is designed to protect Gammatica, our customers, the users they authorise (“End Users”) and the wider Internet community from unethical, irresponsible and unlawful activity.
This Policy forms part of, and must be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where this Policy conflicts with the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions prevail. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions.
Customers (and their End Users) found engaging in activities prohibited by this Policy may be subject to suspension, content removal, and account termination. In serious cases we may be legally obliged, or otherwise entitled, to report such activity to the relevant authorities.
This Policy was last reviewed on 8 June 2026.
1. Fair use
We provide the Products on the assumption that your use will be consistent with normal, good-faith business use as described in your subscription plan or order. If your use is excessive, abusive, or materially exceeds the limits of your plan, we may charge additional fees, throttle or restrict capacity, or require you to upgrade.
We oppose all forms of abuse, discrimination, rights infringement, and any action that harms or disadvantages any group, individual or resource. We expect Customers and their End Users to use the Products with the same intent.
2. Customer accountability
You are responsible for your own actions and for the actions of anyone using the Products with your permission or as a result of your failure to maintain reasonable security (including, without limitation, protecting login credentials and access tokens). By accepting the Products, you agree to ensure that all of your End Users comply with this Policy, and you remain fully responsible for their conduct.
Complaints regarding the conduct of a Customer or its End Users will be directed to the account’s nominated contact. If you, your End User, or anyone using the Products through your account violates this Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the affected Products or the account, remove offending content, or take any remedial or preventative action we consider appropriate, with or without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no credit or refund will be available for any interruption of service resulting from a violation of this Policy.
3. Your content and data — warranties and responsibilities
“Customer Data” means all data, text, files, documents, messages, contacts, and other content that you or your End Users input, upload, connect, transmit, generate or store through the Products, including data imported from connected third-party services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Microsoft Outlook.
You are solely responsible for Customer Data and for the means by which you acquired it. By using the Products, you represent and warrant that:
- you own, or have obtained all rights, licences, consents and permissions necessary to upload, process, store and otherwise use the Customer Data through the Products, including any third-party personal data and any intellectual property;
- with respect to any personal data contained in Customer Data, you act as the data controller (and Gammatica acts solely as a data processor on your behalf), and you have a valid legal basis under the GDPR and applicable law for processing that data, including providing any required notices to, and obtaining any required consents from, the individuals concerned;
- your collection and use of Customer Data, and your use of the Products in connection with it, does not and will not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
- you will not upload, connect or process special categories of personal data (such as data revealing health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade-union membership, genetic or biometric data, or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation) through the AI features of the Products, except where you have ensured an appropriate legal basis and have accepted the associated risk.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of Customer Data. Gammatica is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unauthorised access to Customer Data resulting from your acts or omissions, or from those of your End Users or your connected third-party accounts.
4. Acceptable use of AI features
The Products include artificial-intelligence and machine-learning features (the “AI Features”). In addition to the other rules in this Policy, you and your End Users must not use the AI Features to:
- generate, facilitate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or that exploits or endangers minors;
- generate or distribute spam, malware, phishing content, or content designed to manipulate, mislead or deceive recipients about its origin or nature;
- make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals (for example regarding credit, employment, housing, insurance, or legal matters) without meaningful human review and an appropriate legal basis;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the underlying models, weights, prompts, or training data of the AI Features or of any third-party model accessed through them;
- use the AI Features, or any output of them, to develop, train, or improve any competing artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model or product;
- attempt to bypass, disable or circumvent any safety, rate-limiting, content-filtering or usage-control mechanism, including through prompt injection or similar techniques.
You acknowledge that AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purposes, and that output is generated probabilistically rather than verified for accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI output before relying on it or acting upon it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gammatica is not liable for any decision, action or omission based on AI output.
5. Acceptable use of third-party integrations
Where you connect the Products to third-party services (including Google services such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive, and Microsoft Outlook), you must:
- comply with the applicable terms, policies and acceptable-use rules of those third-party providers, in addition to this Policy;
- only connect accounts that you are authorised to connect, and only grant access to data you are entitled to share;
- not use any integration to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages, to exceed or abuse the third party’s API quotas or rate limits, or to access data beyond what is necessary for the features you have enabled.
You remain responsible for all data accessed, imported or transmitted through a connected account, and for the lawful basis for doing so.
6. Prohibited activity
Copyright infringement and unlawful material
The Products must not be used to transmit, distribute or store any material in violation of applicable law. This includes, without limitation: (i) any material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual-property right used without proper authorisation; and (ii) any material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an unlawful threat, or violates export-control or sanctions laws. You are solely responsible for obtaining all legal permissions required for any material you use through the Products.
Spam and unauthorised messaging
The Products must not be used to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (“spam”) in violation of applicable law, to solicit recipients of spam sent elsewhere, or to collect responses to such spam. Any messaging list run on or through the Products must be confirmed opt-in, and verifiable proof of the recipient’s express permission must be retained for the lifespan of the list. The use of email or telephone lists or databases purchased from third parties for spam or unconfirmed-list purposes is prohibited. This rule applies to messages sent using the Products and to any message, sent from any network, that directly or indirectly refers recipients to material hosted through the Products.
Unethical, exploitative and malicious activity
The Products must not be used to advertise, transmit or make available any software, program, product or service designed to violate this Policy or the acceptable-use policy of any other provider, including the means to send spam or to initiate network sniffing, pinging, packet spoofing, flooding, mail-bombing or denial-of-service attacks. The Products must not be used to access any account or electronic resource without authorisation (e.g. “hacking”, “cracking”, “phreaking”), to introduce viruses or malicious code, or to harass any group or individual (including through denial-of-service attacks, hate speech, advocacy of racial or ethnic intolerance, or any activity intended to threaten, abuse, infringe the rights of, or discriminate against any group or individual).
Other activities considered unethical, exploitative or malicious include:
- obtaining or attempting to obtain services from us with the intent to avoid payment;
- using our facilities to obtain or attempt to obtain services from another provider with the intent to avoid payment;
- the unauthorised access, alteration or destruction (or any attempt thereof) of any information about our customers or End Users, by any means;
- interfering with the use of the Products or our network by other customers or authorised individuals;
- publishing or transmitting any content or links that incite violence, depict a violent act, depict child sexual abuse material, or threaten anyone’s health or safety;
- any act or omission in violation of consumer-protection laws or regulations;
- any violation of a person’s privacy.
Service integrity and resource abuse
You and your End Users must not:
- access or use the Products through automated means (such as scraping, crawling or bots) except through interfaces and to the extent we expressly permit;
- circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any usage, credit, seat, storage or rate limit, or create multiple or fraudulent accounts to obtain additional free trials or benefits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or architecture of the Products, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
- copy, frame, mirror, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Products without our prior written authorisation;
- access the Products in order to build a competing product or service, or to benchmark or copy any feature, function or design of the Products;
- share login credentials or access beyond the number of seats or users licensed under your plan.
Sanctions, embargoes and prohibited parties
The Products may not be used by, or for the benefit of, any person or entity that is involved in, or reasonably suspected of involvement in, activities relating to illegal gambling; terrorism; narcotics trafficking; arms trafficking; or the proliferation, development, manufacture, stockpiling or use of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons, weapons of mass destruction, or missiles — including any affiliation with others who support such activities. You further represent that neither you nor your End Users are subject to, or owned or controlled by parties subject to, applicable economic sanctions or located in an embargoed jurisdiction.
7. Unauthorised use of Gammatica property
You must not impersonate Gammatica, misrepresent a significant business relationship with Gammatica, or claim ownership of any Gammatica property (including the Products and brand) for the purpose of fraudulently gaining service, custom, patronage or user trust.
8. Suspension, investigation and remedies
We may investigate any suspected violation of this Policy and may, in our reasonable discretion and with or without notice, suspend or restrict access, remove or disable content, throttle capacity, or terminate the affected Products or account. Where we reasonably believe a violation poses a risk to the security, integrity or lawful operation of the Products, to other customers, or to third parties, we may act immediately. We may also preserve and disclose information where required by law, by a lawful request from authorities, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Gammatica, our customers or the public.
9. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Gammatica, its directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your or your End Users’ violation of this Policy; (ii) Customer Data, including any claim that it infringes third-party rights or was processed without a valid legal basis; or (iii) your use of the Products in breach of applicable law or the rights of any third party.
10. About this Policy
This Policy sets out a non-exclusive list of activities and intent that we consider unacceptable and incompatible with our brand. Our failure to enforce any provision of this Policy does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
We may modify this Policy at any time by publishing the revised version on our website. The revised version takes effect from the earlier of (i) the date you next use the Products after we publish it, or (ii) 30 days after publication.
